As a way of promoting accountability and transparency to over one thousand subscribers across eighteen countries, the foundation on a quarterly basis invites it membership to a meeting to mainly report on projects implemented, income generated and expenses covered. In addition, various departments update on successes, challenges and together with the members, they discuss way forward.

On the 29th July 2018, the foundation held its second quarterly meeting at the Islamic Center for Education Dawah and Research Conference at 84 Circular Road Freetown. This meeting covered report from January to June because the foundation was unable to hold its first quarterly meeting in April due to the national launch of Reach the Unreachable Project.

The meeting was chaired by Alhaji Abdul Rahman Jalloh who doubles as the CEO and founder of the foundation, and his Co-chair was Mohamed Alhassan Jalloh, Project Lead for the Reach The Unreachable Project. The meeting started with an opening Qur’anic Recitation by Abubakarr who is also a volunteer of the foundation. This was followed by a short advise in which the CEO encouraged all subscribers, volunteers and staff to be sincere.


All departmental heads from Finance, Fundraising, Communications, Field, Project, Procurement and the Data and Research departments, did presentations on their successes, challenges and way forward. After each presentation, members interacted with the department through questions. It was reportes that a total of Le 79,635,000 was raised from both subscriptions and donations and a total of Le 74,966,000 was spent on Projects and admin cost.
CEO also did a power point presentation on the foundation’s top upcoming activities, such as; the breastfeeding campaign, mobile clinic, clothing distribution, annual fundraising dinner and many more.

The third annual fundraising dinner which is scheduled to take place on the 4th of November 2018, at the Peace Hall, Special Court, New England was officially launched. The CEO said the dinner is geared towards raising additional funds for the construction of the DAQVAH Junior Secondary School in Masofonia, Falaba District.

The Communications and Data department ensured that the meeting was live on Facebook for the benefit of other members across the globe. Brochures on project and financial update was presented to all members present.


The meeting was climaxed by self introduction of all present and ended with a closing prayer.
